The Duchess of Cambridge has praised a frontline worker’s resilience in her latest phone call with finalists from her Hold Still photography initiative.
Speaking to Gimba, who works at Whipps Hospital cooking and caring for patients, Kate Middleton applauded the woman’s smile in spite of a very difficult day for her.
The simple photograph, titled Gimba, The Ward Host, was taken by friend and photographer Hassan Akkad, and it doesn’t just depict your average frontline worker taking a lunch break.
