Simon Yates (BikeExchange) climbed to his fourth career Giro d’Italia stage win on Friday’s stage 19, soloing to victory on the Alpe di Mera.
The 166 km stage came down to the GC favorites after the last remnants of the early break were caught just inside the last 8 km.
