Blues champion Kade Simpson has today informed his teammates of his decision to retire.

After 18 seasons and 341 games to date, Blues champion Kade Simpson has today informed his teammates of his decision to retire at the end of the 2020 season.
The 36-year-old will depart the game as one of Carltons greatest players of the modern era.
Simpsons incredible durability can be summed up by the fact he is the last remaining player from his 2002 draft class. He also played 158 consecutive games between 20052012, a Carlton record and the third longest streak in AFL/VFL history.
