Eight countries have signed the Artemis Agreement, a set of guidelines surrounding the Artemis program for exploring the moon with crew. The United Kingdom, Italy, Australia, Canada, Japan, Luxembourg, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States are all now participants in the project, which aims to bring people back to the moon by 2024 and to establish a manned lunar base by 2030.
