Side-effects unlikely from vaccine mistake in Brisbane aged-care home, expert says

“The adverse effects don’t track linearly with a higher doses, but we may expect those effects to perhaps be exacerbated in a higher dose, things like swelling and tenderness at the injection site,” he said.
“The main risk I think here is in the perception of risk and confidence in the vaccine, but there’s been a great deal of transparency here and I’m sure we’re going to learn from this moving forward.”
It comes after it was revealed the doctor who administered the vaccines had not undertaken the appropriate training.
