‘Shouldn’t have to wait’: Storm ask NRL to consider Immortal change for Cameron Smith – Fox Sports
Melbourne Storm chairman Matt Tripp has called for the NRL to make recently-retired Cameron Smith the game’s next Immortal.

Despite current rules stating the 37-year-old wouldnt be able to become one until 2025 five years after he has retired Smiths admission could come sooner than many think.
ARL Commission chair Peter Vlandys said last year he might consider scrapping the wait for Immortals to be anointed.
