Shoppers reveal the premium products ‘repackaged’ under cheaper Aldi brand – 9Honey

It’s no secret you can save a heap of cash by forgoing the pricier supermarket name brand items for the home brand equivalent.
But perhaps lesser known is that many supermarket giants source their ‘home’ brand product from already established brands, and simply repackage them charging a fraction of the retail price.
Now one Aldi shopper has taken their quest to uncover these hidden home brand gems to Facebook with some astonishing finds.
Molly Drane posted to the Aldi Mums Facebook page, asking other fans of the German supermarket chain to share what Aldi-branded items they believe to be repackaged premium products and the question certainly got tongues wagging.

Mrs Drane wrote: “Interested to know if anyone knows what ALDI branded stuff is other premium brands that has been repackaged?
