Shoppers anticipate ‘stampede’ as Aldi’s legendary annual snow gear sale returns – 9Travel

Aldi will be bringing back its wildly popular annual snow gear sale a year after the supermarket chain was forced to cancel it amid the coronavirus.
Shoppers are already anticipating a “stampede” ahead of the cult Special Buys event.
The German retailer’s Snow Gear Special Buys returns on Saturday, May 22, with bargains ranging from $40 ski jackets to $20 matching fleece ski sets.
Past sales have drawn queues to rival an election day, with Aldi fans often lining up for hours before stores open.
