‘Shocked’ David Warner cops brutal IPL axing – Wide World of Sports

David Warner has been left out of the Sunrisers Hyderabad squad less than 24 hours after he was sensationally sacked as captain of his IPL franchise.
Warner, 34, will not feature for the Sunrisers tonight during their clash with the Rajasthan Royals. The Australian was replaced by Afghan all-rounder Mohammad Nabi as the fourth overseas player in the starting XI.
The decision comes following the Sunrisers’ terrible start to the IPL season, with the team currently at the bottom of the table.
