Trainer Bjorn Baker, still coming to terms with the potentially career-ending injury to Samadoubt, is hopeful Shes Ideel can boost stable spirits by winning the Group 1 $2 million Schweppes Sydney Cup (3200m) at Royal Randwick on Saturday.
Rising eight-year-old chestnut Samadoubt re-injured his off-fore tendon leaving his racing future in doubt.
