‘Sexist’ ad for medical scrubs blasted on Twitter – 9Honey
An advertisement for medical scrubs for females has been blasted on Twitter for being sexist and offensive.
The video ad for Figs scrubs shows a young woman wearing bright pink scrubs and glasses. She is holding a book called Medical Terminology for Dummies,and if that isn’t bad enough, she is holding it upside down.
A close-up of the model’s drawstring scrubs features a mock-up hospital badge reading “DO,” short for “Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine,” a job which takes a more holistic approach …
