Severe weather warning issued for south-west WA as rain brings fire relief
Heavy rain has extinguished the fire threat in southern Western Australia, but a severe weather warning is creating other challenges for the state’s emergency services.

Strong winds and rain battered the region south of Mandurah on Sunday as a low a moved down along coast, around 155 kilometres offshore.
As of 10:30am on Sunday, the Bureau of Meteorology listed the affected areas as Bunbury, Busselton, Collie, Manjimup, Margaret River, Augusta, Dunsborough, Harvey and Walpole.
