Severe storms set to smash state
The Bureau has warned severe weqather is possible over eastern and central Queensland, while the state’s north continues to be inundated with the remnants of ex-tropical cyclone Imogen. A severe warning for people in Herbert and the Lower Burdekin has been cancelled, but more than 120mm fell in Ingham in the hour to 7am this morning.It comes as 14 flood warnings remain in place across the state.
