Seven’s multiplying dramas to reduce debt – Sydney Morning Herald
Seven West chief executive James Warburton seems to be making some headway in reducing the network’s monstrous $541.5 million debt.

Warburton has also earmarked Sunrise executive producer, the evergreen Michael Pell, for a major promotion, seconding him to the programming and production unit, working alongside programming supremo Angus Ross and production boss Andrew Backwell.
And what of the appointment of a chief content officer? Its only been a 10-month search. After asking every TV executive in town, it seems the Seven chief executive has found an ideal candidate closer to home – none other than Warburton himself.
