Seven dealt blow in TV stoush with Cricket Australia – Sydney Morning Herald
Seven West Media had asked for a $70 million reduction from its annual $82 million deal. An independent assessment found the network can recoup just $5 million.
The draft determination figure stands to be a massive win for CA, which had offered its free-to-air TV partner a 20 per cent discount for this summer, which amounted to about $15 million, split over what had been the four seasons remaining on the term. This was rejected by Seven.
