Sentence re-imposed over death of Peta Fairhead, who jumped from moving car while being held captive

Three men accused of killing a woman who died after jumping out of a moving vehicle in which she was being held have been sentenced to eight years in jail after a retrial.

Peta Fairhead fell from the car after opening the door in 2016.

She had been detained and threatened by Ross Boag, Leroy Smith and Lucas Yarran.

The men had also stolen from her.

They left the 27-year-old outside Joondalup Health Campus and she died soon afterwards.
