Seibold says Broncos owner ‘wouldn’t man up’ to scathing ‘cancer’ swipe – Fox Sports
Anthony Seibold says he confronted the club’s biggest private investor, Phil Murphy, after he likened the outgoing Broncos coach to a “cancer that needs to be cut out”.
Murphy on Monday made the scathing comments about Seibold who he wanted out of Brisbane after a tumultuous two seasons in charge.
Seibold accepted a settlement from the club on Tuesday when he also picked up the phone to confront Murphy over his comments.
