Second worker killed at central Queensland mine in less than two years

A worker has been killed at a central Queensland mine overnight – the second death at the site in less than two years.

Emergency services were called to the Curragh coal mine, 170 kilometres west of Rockhampton, on Blackwater Cooroorah Road at Blackwater about 2.15am on Sunday.
