Second person stung by deadly Irukandji in northern Queensland in four days

Another person has been stung by an Irukandji jellyfish – the second victim in Queensland’s north in just four days.
The patient, reportedly a woman in her 20s, was stung in the Whitsundays region about midday on Tuesday.
She has been airlifted to Mackay Hospital in a stable condition.
“A flight critical care paramedic is on board the helicopter for assistance,” Queensland Ambulance Service said on Twitter on Tuesday.
