Search under way for person feared missing in Brisbane River

Water police and a swift water rescue team have launched a search for a person feared missing in the Brisbane River.
Emergency services arrived on scene near the Gardens Point Boat Harbour before 3pm after reports a person had entered the water and not reappeared, a Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said.
Emergency services swift water boats were seen near the CBD jetty, with paramedics and a stretcher standing by on the walkway.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said the swift water crew was conducting a “surface level” search of the river.
