Search and rescue launched to find man who went missing on group hunting trip near Aurukun in Far North Queensland

A man is missing in remote Far North Queensland, with a desperate search and rescue operation now underway to find him.

The 52-year-old man was on a group hunting trip about 70km east of Aurukun, north of Cooktown, when their car became bogged about 4pm on Sunday.
