Seagram’s liquor heiress jailed in sex cult case – The Australian Financial Review
Clare Bronfman has been handed an 81-month sentence and a $US500,000 fine for her role as a benefactor of Keith Raniere, a disgraced self-improvement guru.

The sentence far exceeded the three years probation sought by the defence and even the five years the government wanted for Bronfman, who had been under home confinement. She also was fined $US500,000 ($697,250).
