New research into the 16 Psyche asteroid has discovered that the metallic rock has a net worth of over $10,000 quadrillion.
Just to cap off last week’s Moon water news, scientists have now discovered that theres a giant metallic asteroid hanging around Mars and Jupiter that is worth $10,000,000,000,000,000,000. Yes, that is nineteen zeros, aka $10,000 quadrillion.
A study from The Planetary Science Journal has detailed more information about the 16 Psyche asteroid thanks to new images from the Hubble Space Telescope. In case you were wondering, this asteroid is different to the one that is set to hit us in 2068.
