Scientists discover ‘jaw-droppingly weird’ dinosaur fossil in Morocco

Around 165 million years ago, in what is now Morocco, lived one of the most extensively armoured dinosaurs on record.

The dinosaur, named Spicomellus, was roughly 4 metres long, weighed around a ton and was lavishly adorned with metre-long spikes.
