Scientists create edible food packaging films from seaweed – New Food
A research team from India and Russia says it has created edible films which can be used to package fruits, vegetables, meats and seafood.

The research team say the films can be made using algae, of which there is an almost inexhaustible supply of in the worlds oceans.
