School makes highest grade in hardest year

Due to the decision to scrap a report detailing every school’s Year 12 achievements, The Courier-Mail has been unable to celebrate every school’s results.But BGGS’s remarkable performance is believed to be the best in the state, with more than 77 per cent of its cohort achieving an ATAR of 90 or above — the equivalent of an OP 1 to 5.Two students achieved the highest possible score, an ATAR of 99.95, while more than 15 per cent achieved an ATAR of 99 and above.Principal Jacinda Euler said the…
