Winger Ben Lam played his last game for the Hurricanes on the weekend, ahead of a move to Bordeaux, while Ngani Laumape confirmed his season was over in a social media post on Sunday night.
Hurricanes coach Jason Holland said on Monday morning that Savea would link up with his old Super Rugby side, reuniting with younger brother Ardie.
