The rollout of the National Broadband Network formally finished in 2020.
While there will always be more new dwellings to connect, the build phase of the controversial network conceived in the lead-up to the 2007 election and amended many times since then is now over.
But for millions of Australians who aren’t happy with their internet connection, the story hasn’t ended.
