Starting today, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 and Galaxy Watch Active 2 will be able to take ECG readings through a new app, over a year after the tech debuted
Following the Apple Watch a couple of years ago, the ability to take an ECG reading from a smartwatch has been a sort of “holy grail” for health features. Samsung’s past two smartwatch releases, the Galaxy Watch Active 2 and Galaxy Watch 3, have had the hardware needed for ECG, and today, they’re finally getting the software to take advantage of it.
