Sales boom for IGA operator Metcash as shoppers stay local after lockdowns – Sydney Morning Herald
The head of IGA supplier Metcash, Jeff Adams, says customers are continuing to flock to independent supermarkets.

Metcash and its IGA network have been a major beneficiary of the pandemic as shoppers picked its local and, at times, better-stocked stores during various lockdowns, eschewing supermarkets in inner-city locations predominantly owned by Coles and Woolworths.
