SA Premier says no government website data collected through NationBuilder
South Australia’s Premier says no data has been harvested from state government website users while at the same time saying checks were still being made with the US company the state Liberal Party uses for campaigning.
Key points:
- SA Government website links have been redirected through a domain owned by the Liberal Party
- The Premier says no data has been collected or retained
- His office says NationalBuilder has confirmed what he said
His office later said the data-harvesting platform NationBuilder had confirmed users were not being redirected via its platform “and no data is being collected or retained when users click on these links”.
The government yesterday admitted it has been redirecting web users on official government links
