SA Police officer on serious assault charges following investigation
A South Australian police officer will face court next week over serious assault charges.
Police say an investigation led to the serving officer being summonsed to appear in court to answer allegations of committing three counts of aggravated assault causing harm and two counts of aggravated assault.
It is alleged the assaults occurred across four different incidents and involved four people between August and December last year.
The police officer has been suspended from duty and is expected to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on April 19.
