SA coronavirus patient remains hospitalised in a critical condition

A coronavirus patient who was yesterday hospitalised in Adelaide remains in a critical condition, health authorities say. 

The man, aged in his 40s, was transported from a dedicated quarantine hotel for positive cases on Sunday to the Royal Adelaide Hospital’s intensive care unit. 

Acting Chief Public Health Officer Michael Cusack previously said the man was believed to have the South African variant of COVID-19 and was suffering breathlessness.
