The fishery, which in 2021 is celebrating its 185th anniversary, is reflecting on what has changed over the years and what remains the same.
Marine Fishers Association executive officer Gary Morgan said the fundamentals of the fishery had remained the same all that time, with fishers still using hand-held fishing lines and nets for their catch.
