Royal Perth Hospital staff in quarantine after COVID safety breach – WAtoday
The three health workers unknowingly entered a lift just minutes after the captain of the Aquagenie bulk carrier was transferred inside it.
Deputy leader of the Liberal party, Libby Mettam, said there was no excuse for the breach.
This seriously raises the question about what the McGowan government have been doing 12 months into a pandemic, where it cant effectively manage one patient, she said.
The fact that we had three people potentially exposed as a result of one patient highlights that there are still gaping holes in the PPE policy and the management of infected patients.
