Royal Cornwall Hospital is urging people not to attend A&E unless an individual is suffering from life-threatening illness or injury.
Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust shared a plea on Saturday asking people to call 111 before turning up at the department.
The trust shared a post on Facebook which said: The Emergency Department at Royal Cornwall Hospital is really busy today.
Unless it’s a life-threatening emergency, don’t just come to ED, go online at www.111.nhs.uk or call 111 first. …
