Orazio Fantasias bumpy season has suffered another blow, with the Essendon defender ruled out of Sundays clash with Adelaide due to a calf complaint.
Fantasia suffered what the Bombers said was a “suspected calf strain” at training on Friday and was replaced by Martin Gleeson in the club’s selected side to tackle the Crows.
Fantasia missed Round 2 with a quad injury and has been shifted from attack to defence with limited effect over the past three weeks.
