Sydney Roosters co-captain Boyd Cordner will reportedly miss at least the opening 12 rounds of the season, with the club hoping to get $350,000 in salary cap relief.
The Roosters last week put in a formal submission for salary cap relief to the NRL following Cordner’s brutal run with repeated concussions according to Fox Sports.
The 28-year-old last November ruled himself out of game two and three of the Origin series after suffering a head knock in the series opener.
