Ronaldo trumps Sarri-ball as Juve win another Serie A title – Sydney Morning Herald
Juventus have won a ninth straight Serie A title after a 2-0 win over Sampdoria secured manager Maurizio Sarri a first major Italian honour.
After a frustrating opening for the hosts, Ronaldo broke the deadlock in the seventh minute of first-half stoppage time with his 31st league goal of the season after Miralem Pjanic rolled a free kick to him.
Ronaldo was also involved in the second goal when his shot was blocked by Emil Audero and Federico Bernardeschi snapped up the rebound in the 67th minute.
Cristiano Ronaldo again proved the difference for Juventus as the Old Lady beat Sampdoria 2-0 to secure the Italian championship.Credit…
