Rockstar Is Releasing Red Dead Online as a Standalone Game – PCMag AU

When Red Dead Redemption 2 launched back in October 2018, it was quickly followed by a beta of an online multiplayer mode called Red Dead Online. Now, two years on, Red Dead Online is set to be released as a standalone game.
As Videogamer reports, developer Rockstar Games announced both PC and console owners will be able to purchase the online-only game from Dec. 1. It means for the first time gamers who don’t own Red Dead Redemption 2 can experience the online component…
