‘Rocket League’ will no longer require online console subscriptions – NME.com
When ‘Rocket League’ goes free-to-play, users will no longer require PlayStation Plus or Nintendo Switch Online accounts to play online.
Developer Psyonix has confirmed that gamers will not require PlayStation Plus or Nintendo Switch Online subscriptions to play Rocket League once its made free-to-play.
Psyonix announced the news via a blog post on its website, revealing that once free-to-play is rolled out PlayStation Plus on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch Online will no longer be required for online play on those platforms.
