Rio Tinto hosts one of the last tenders of Argyle diamonds – MINING.com
The virtual event was titled One Lifetime, One Encounter, making reference to the closure of the Argyle mine at the end of 2020, after almost four decades of production.

In a press release, Rio said that the 2020 Argyle Pink Diamonds Tender was a collection of the rarest diamonds from a years production from the Argyle mine in the remote east Kimberley region of Western Australia.
