Riewoldt rips ‘ugly’ social media abuse after Bomber’s ‘silly’ mistake – Fox Sports
St Kilda great Nick Riewoldt has called on fans to be better after Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti copped a barrage of abuse on social media for an on-field mistake.
Essendon were demolished 108-42 by Geelong but had an early chance to hit the lead within the first 30 seconds of the game.
Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti took a mark around 20 metres out from goal but instead of taking the shot himself, he selflessly tried to link with teammate Irving Mosquito.
