Rider tries – and fails – to flee police on motorbike before citizen helps in arrest

A motorcyclist’s attempt to escape police on an allegedly stolen bike has ended with the rider face down in handcuffs.

The Yamaha was seen on the wrong side of Logan Road in Mount Gravatt about 8pm on Wednesday with two people aboard, police said.
