‘Ricky’s going nowhere’: Players on the chopping block as divided Raiders face overhaul
NRL great Matthew Johns says he empathises with George Williams homesickness as the Raiders face a roster overhaul amid a divided dressing room.
Williams was given an immediate release by Canberra after failing to turn up to training earlier in the week.
Canberra have insisted that they have given the England international plenty of support, even offering him an extended off-season break before getting him back in the fold for the 2022 season.
