Richmond has kept pace with the top four, with a hard-fought 21-point win over Gold Coast at the Gabba.
The Suns had lost their last five matches against the Tigers, including a number of heavy defeats, but after being put right under the pump at the start of the game, Gold Coast took it to the opposition for most of the match before fading late to lose 8.5 (53) to 4.8 (32).
