Review finds Barkly bushfire overwhelmed authorities and killed 37,000 cattle

An independent review into the 2023 bushfires that burnt more than 2.7 million hectares in the Barkly region of the Northern Territory has highlighted a wide range of issues, but not “assigned blame”.
