Revealed: Michael Maguire’s Benji call that led to Tigers honesty session and club great’s exit – Fox Sports
Michael Maguire’s decision to drop Tigers icon Benji Marshall back in June is said to have led to a divide between the coach and players.
Marshall was axed in the wake of the Tigers 28-23 loss to the Gold Coast Titans in Round 4.
It came as a shock given Marshall was flying high in the race for the Dally M medal.
