Just days after retailers were forced to write out to customers who’d thought they’d successfully secured a PS5
pre-order, retailers are similarly having to email people the bad news that not all Xbox Series X
pre-orders can be honoured.
According to UK retailer ShopTo, the retailer’s allocation of the next-gen console system was not enough to fulfil the number of pre-orders it had taken when early orders for the Xbox Series X went on sale.
