Report: Geelong makes Dangerfield surgery call – SEN

Geelong has opted to send Patrick Dangerfield into surgery to fix a serious ankle injury, according to the Herald Sun.
As reported by SEN Chief Sports Reporter Sam Edmund earlier on Wednesday, the Cats have been weighing up whether surgery was the best option to fix a syndesmosis tear.
But after consulting specialists both in Melbourne and Sydney, Dangerfield now faces as many as eight weeks on the sidelines after the operation.
